A man from Covington was arrested by AG Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation on a number of disturbing charges recently.

36-year-old Brandon Joseph Brown, was arrested at his home on Beverly Drive in Covington on February 12, for violating:

• LA R.S. 14:81 Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile; 1 count
• LA R.S. 14:81A(3) Indecent Behavior/Grooming of a Child; 1 count
• LA R.S. 14:81.3 Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor; 1 count

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, the 22nd JDC ICAC Task Force and Covington Police Department.

Upon arrest, Brown was transported to the St. Tammany Parish Jail for booking. 

The investigation is ongoing.
