AG Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrests Registered Sex Offender from Broussard for Child Sexual Abuse Material Under the Age of 13
Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a Registered Sex Offender from Broussard for Child Sexual Abuse Material Under the Age of 13.
51-year-old Scottie Wayne Vallot, of Pear Tree Circle in Broussard, was arrested on May 13, 2026, for:
- 6 Counts of 14:81.1 E(5)(a) -- child sexual abuse material under the age of thirteen (Felony)
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which jumpstarted our investigation.
This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Scottie Vallot was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
His bond has been set at $60,000.
The investigation continues.
